Welcome To Our Wonderful World Of Crazy!

Today is the first day where I have actually had some time to sit down and really conquer this project I have been wanting to do.  With a push from a few great friends and a shove from my husband, I have finally made the plunge into the blogging world.

Now that I am working more than full time, I also have to juggle the roles of being a good mother, wife, friend, family member, worker, co-worker and Christian.  Sometimes I have to stop and tell myself, "It's okay to slow down". Within ten minutes I find myself wondering how in the world could I ever do something like this without dissapointing the ones around me?  I have people that count on me on daily basis and I am not just talking about the people I pay my bills to or maybe serve a meal to every now and then.  I am talking about my husband and my child.  I want to enjoy them and take care of them.  I want to be able to do everything a stay at home mother does without sacrificing my precious time with my family.  Some of you wonder how it can be done?  Well guess what?  It can! Everything may not be perfect, but it's perfect for us.  

Hopefully with the help of my friends, family and my other frugal moms, I can continue in this role that I love (without losing my mind) and be able to share my secrets along the way.  

Going back to working full time was a hard decision for me, but I was lucky to be at home with my baby for about 6 months.  Someone once told me, "It's not the quantity of the time you spend with your family, its all about the quality of the time spent."  I somewhat disagreed with this at first, but as I look at every moment I spend with my family after going back to work, I really do make every moment count.  I find myself sacrificing things I may have used to have done, for more time at home and I wouldn't change it for the world.
